Sponsorships & Donations
As a community credit union, CSE is committed to supporting the communities where we live and work. As we continue to grow in size, we remain dedicated to keeping pace with our reach and impact. At the same time, the number of requests that we receive for support and sponsorship also grow. To streamline the process of seeking support from CSE Federal Credit Union in the form of donations and sponsorships, we ask that you read the following overview and guidelines of CSE's community support in the form of donations and sponsorships.
Where We Give and Why
CSE’s provides donations, sponsorships and financial, in-kind, and volunteer support to nonprofit organizations that serve communities and citizens in our field of membership: Stark, Summit, Portage, Tuscarawas, and Carroll Counties.
Due to the volume of requests that CSE receives, we objectively screen requests based on a standard of eligibility and purpose, distributing our limited donation budget to areas that focus on our mission and purpose.
CSE’s contribution opportunities must align brand values, mission, and vision. We prioritize partnerships that reflect our commitment in at least one of the following development issues:
- Education - Creating opportunities for youth, and adults alike to inspire them to reach their full potential and to enhance their financial educational experience. We look to collaborate in efforts that provide quality education resources that can improve people’s lives.
- Health – Physical, Mental, Emotional, and Financial, no matter the ‘topic’ of health, it’s our goal to help ensure healthy lives and to promote the well-being of people of all ages in our communities.
- Housing – Inadequate living conditions and unaffordable housing options can have a significant impact on people’s ability to overcome many of the other development issues. We hope to find support efforts that increase the affordability and overall conditions when it comes to housing for our members and community.
- Hunger - Hunger is not limited to those living in poverty. Food insecurity is a greater issue that can be related to right here in our communities. We want our efforts to include a focus on helping lessen the food insecurity and hunger in our area, which can be a simple but huge improvement in a person’s life.
- Transportation – Transportation = access. Without transportation, individuals and families may not be able to access dire resources such as schools and food pantries, employment, and more. Providing affordable and flexible financing for our members is engrained in the way we lend. But we want to do more in the realm of transportation for our communities.
You don't have to be a member of CSE FCU to be approved for a donation, but please note that CSE rarely donates to individuals, trips, sports teams, or causes that are religious or political in nature.
